Paul told the Hebrew people, “There remaineth therefore a (Sabbath) rest to the people of God.” In today’s religious culture the day Jesus said He was Lord of (Mat 12:8; Mar 2:28; Luk 6:5) has been replaced with a Sunday rest, an institution made by man thus dethroning God from the position of God, creator of heaven and earth (Exo 20:8-11).
But for those who are willing to receive it, there still remains a wonderful rest, the rest of not only His creative power, but His recreative power (Eze 20;12; Exo 31:13).
