We have spent six weeks looking at the subject of love. How wonderful to know that God loves us so much that He will only, and always give us what is truly needed most. That great principle encourages us even when times are hard and painful. But this truth also creates a fair amount of mixed emotions. On the one hand it is great to know we’re loved in spite of our faults, failings, and shortcomings. But this great love that has been so lavishly poured out shine a very bright spotlight on the fact that we are also great sinners.
In this sermon we’re going to let the Bible clearly define the enemy. When we’re finished will know, from the Bible, what sin is. That will then open the door of our understanding as to our greatest need. That need is for a Savior.
