In Grace + and Grace + II we learned that grace is the free unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings. Indeed, every blessing, from love to law, from repentance to rest, from truth to trust, from health to hope, all God’s gifts and blessings are a grace, the ultimate of course being God Himself in the person of Jesus Christ.
As is true with every good and powerful gift, grace also comes with cautions; cautions that if not heeded will jeopardize the blessing God wants to bestow upon us.
If you don’t want God’s blessings, His benefits, the grace He longs to shower on you, simply ignore the cautions, remove from your experience all the conditions, take grace and minus from it God’s directives and you’ll succeed.
In our sermon GRACE – (Grace Minus) we look closely at some ways to avoid putting a minus on God’s amazing Grace and thus diminishing the blessings He longs to bestow.
