Kids will learn new songs, make new friends, and learn about how God is our Great Rescuer!

Why Grants Pass Adventist Church’s Vacation Bible School?

Whatever your reasons for looking into VBS as a great activity for your kids, Grants Pass Church aspires to meet your needs. For many years this program has been a local favorite, eagerly anticipated by both children and adults.

Our Core Values

  • Jesus loves you.
  • Jesus cares for you personally.
  • You are not an accident! You matter to the world.
  • You matter to God!
  • Kids learn better when they’re having fun.
  • Positive friendships bring out the best in people.

These ideas construct the central purpose of VBS. We aim to provide a healthy social environment for your child. There will be opportunities to learn not only Bible truths, but social skills such as sharing, teamwork, and respect.

What’s Different This Year?

We selected a different curriculum that seemed more fun and applicable to kids than others we reviewed. We can’t wait to teach the new songs, build the new crafts, and learn about how Jesus is our Rescuer.

Plus, our kids are a year older, and many are looking forward to coming back and seeing their friends from last year.

Who can attend?

This program is geared toward children ages 6-12. We limit registration to this age range so each child can receive the amount of attention necessary for a successful program.

(You must be registered to attend! Staffing and supplies are figured by planned attendance.)

About Our Staff

Our volunteers have demonstrated a love and commitment to Jesus and to children, and have successfully passed background checks. Each staff member is passionate about Jesus and about children. Their goal is to provide kids with a foundation of basic biblical values.

What to Expect

With our “Radical Rescue” theme this year, we will explore the biblical sanctuary and how it symbolizes the way that God is our Great Rescuer and has everything planned to work out for good.

Since this year’s VBS is held at Grants Pass School (2250 Heidi Ln), we have more space to work with. We are excited to expand our VBS efforts to this location!

Activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Crafts
  • Group games
  • Bible storytelling
  • Skits
  • Snacks
  • Singing
  • Prayer
