No Vehicle? No problem! We’ll Give You a Ride to Church.
The blind see, the lame walk, and those without a vehicle can come to church
Did you know that Jesus was all about meeting the practical needs of the people that sought him? We are also in the business of meeting the needs in those in our community by giving you a lift—to church, and in encouragement.
Grants Pass Church’s Transportation Ministry is just another way we can with those who are unable to come to church on their own. We strive to make sure everyone who wants to be at church to worship can be at church each Sabbath.
Here’s how it works:
Contact our transportation coordinators before Saturday of any given week, Jerry and Zola, and church members will coordinate pick-up and drop-off of those in need of a ride to church. You will receive a reply with the names and vehicle description of the persons that will arrive at your house before church.
And this ministry doesn’t stop at church! We are also happy to help passengers get to important appointments, if possible. Let us know in the email what your needs are and we’ll do our best to coordinate a ride.
Jerry and Zola are the leaders of the Grants Pass Transportation Team. They are passionate about each and every person who sits in the car with them. They love getting to know their passengers and praying with and for them. Jerry and Zola strive to touch the lives of those in the community who need their help, and through this ministry they hope to see the love of Jesus spread throughout Grants Pass.
Jerry and Zola coordinate the requests for rides and the drivers. Email them with any questions you might have.
If you desire a closer walk with God, or to know more about God, and are unable to drive yourself to church, we invite to you contact us to arrange a ride to and from church. We know it can be hard to reach out to a church you’ve never been to, but rest assured that we offer no judgment or agenda—just love, prayers, and a safe trip to and from church on any Sabbath. You’ll find that you won’t just get a driver, you’ll get a friend as well.
Try us—we’re just as friendly as Lyft or Uber!
