Are you looking for a healthier you?

Grants Pass Adventist Church’s Health & Wellness Team exists to help us all learn and grow in our physical, mental and spiritual health. Using Biblical principles and wellness research, we provide resources in the form of seminars, clinics and other healthful activities to our church and especially our community.

In today’s world, we are bombarded with scary statistics about obesity, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and many other conditions that keep us from thriving. But in support of our denomination’s emphasis on the foundational importance of staying healthy and balanced, we believe there are fundamental health principles that have been smothered by today’s sea of information overload. We would like to promote these principles within all our events and activities.

We regularly host nutritional cooking classes, stop smoking classes, Spanish cooking class, and occasional weekend health events. We also volunteer at the blood pressure area at Fred Meyers. We feel it’s so important to focus on how the health of our bodies affects the health of our minds. Clear minds are better able to receive spiritual elightenment.
